PRINTTRACKER

Privacy policy

Private by design.

Effective 16 September 2026

Summary: PrintTracker has no developer account system, advertising, analytics or tracking. Structured records use your private iCloud database; photos stay local.

Information you enter

You may enter printer profiles, power and cost rates, material and spool information, job names and notes, consumed quantities, prices, completion dates and calculated results. You may also choose a local job photo or import a supported slicer file for local review.

Where information is stored

Structured PrintTracker records are stored on your device and, when iCloud is available, in your personal private CloudKit database so they can sync between your devices. Private CloudKit records are controlled through your Apple Account and are not visible to the developer in the CloudKit developer portal.

Job photos are resized, stripped of location metadata and stored locally in the app's Application Support directory. PrintTracker does not sync those photo files in this release. Imported print files are read locally to populate a draft and are not uploaded by PrintTracker.

Information we collect

We do not receive or collect your PrintTracker content. The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting SDKs. It does not create a PrintTracker account and does not request printer-vendor credentials.

Camera and photo library

Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a job photo. Apple's photo picker is used when you choose an existing image. Removing a photo does not delete the job.

Retention and deletion

You control records inside the app and can delete jobs, printers and spools. Local app data is removed when the app is deleted. Records already stored in your private iCloud database are governed by your iCloud settings and may return after reinstalling on an account that still holds them.

Children

PrintTracker is a general-purpose workshop utility and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the relevant release.
